I am not impressed with Tiffen filters I got in this set. The finish of the rings are poor. Despite of previously poor reputaion, I recently purchased some 67mm Quantaray filter from the local Ritz Camera store which are of much better quality compared to this set of Tiffen filters. I never got Tiffens before, had good experience with Hoyas. I will probably stay with those from now on. Now come to think of it, Ritz camera indicated the Quantaray they had were made by Hoya.
The glass on all the filters are quite a bit more reflective compared to the Hoyas and the Quantarays. Not a good sign.
The circular polarizer had some smudges and some lense swirl that after 10 sheets of lense tissue and quite a bit of cleaning solution failed to be fully cleared off. Quite frustrating. All of the filters came with lint and a few little smudges on them, not sure if the store handling or the manufacturer handling was to blame, but none of the other filters I got before had this kind of problem right out of the box.
The set might be cheap, but it sure is for a good reason.

Protect your camera lens from ultraviolet light while boosting your artistic possibilities with the Tiffen Digital Enhancing filter kit. The kit--which includes an ultraviolet filter, digital enhancing filter, circular polarizer, and color-warming filter--is an ideal accessory for cameras with 58mmfilter threads. The ultraviolet filter prevents UV light from reaching the lens, helping increase clarity and reduce haze. As a result, your photos look crystal clear even in mountainous and coastal areas, where ultraviolet light is particularly strong. The digital enhancing filter, meanwhile, makes reds, rust browns, and oranges "pop" in the image without affecting the other colors. The filter is perfect for fall foliage, earthtone rock formations, architecture, woodwork, faded rustic barns, and any other photos in which red, brown, and orange subjects should be enriched or appear more intense. Photographers will also appreciate the circular polarizer, which deepens the intensity of blue skies and reduces or eliminates glare. (Note that the circular polarizer is designed expressly for autofocus cameras.) Finally, the kit offers an exclusive color-warming filter that improves the color of all skin tones. Ideal for portraits, the color-warming filter absorbs the blue cast often caused by electronic flashes or outdoor shade, adding warmth to pale, washed-out flesh tones. Combine all the filters together and you have enough filters to cover just about every shooting situation, from portraits to foliage to shooting through glass.
