These Hoya filters are quire expensive compared to the Zeicos and similar El Cheapo filters, but you get what you pay for. The glass is really optical quality, with no distortions, and the anti-reflective coating is better quality. If you are buying a UV filter for a lens costing many hundreds to thousands of dollars, like a Canon "L" series, these Hoya's are the filter you want. Please don't put a $3.00 filter in front of a $1500 lens.
