I gave it to them early so they record the birth of their second girl's birth Dec. 5th. They absolutely Love it! It is compact...takes still pictures as well...so you can leave your regular camera @ home. The quality of pictures/video with the audio is awesome! I liked that this utilized a memory stick instead of a disc. My son has found it very easy to operate & highly recommends to others. I shopped for quite a few Sony camcorders before purchasing this one. An excellent price @ about $300.00 for the Sony Camcorder & Deluxe Accessory Kit is well worth the money. I used to shop & buy all my electronics @ Costco...but have found Amazon to be a fierce competitor & very customer oriented. I highly recommend this Sony Camcorder & Amazon to purchase from!
