(More customer reviews)I bought 2 of the Vivitar NV cameras, I bought the 1st one for a gift, when she opened it the screen was badly scratched and it was made out of cheap plastic. We put batteries in it and went into a dark room to see if the cheap video cameras night vision worked. To our surprise it worked great, she kept the camera and I went back on Amazon to buy myself one. I am not joking - mine was scratched on the screen as well. Do we care... no. For under $40 it is a steal (scratches and all). I bought 2 night vision lights (that doubled the cost of the camera)and I can see forever. The picture quality is low but considering the price who would expect more.
