The case is just as you'd expect. It's a soft rubber case that gives your flip some padding in the event of a fall. The case is easy to grip, but it's rubber texture attracts lint and linen type particles. I still don't feel comfortable throwing my camera into a bag because the lens isn't protected. This is a good case to have while actively using your camera, but for taking it places I'd recommend getting a mini camera case that isn't form fitting so you don't have to worry about scratching the lens or screen. The buttons work fine through the case. You can tell it's cheap/flimsy but once it's on the camera (and it fights fine and is easy to slip on)it doesn't matter. This does its job.
